This is the eleventh annual conference by the IFBF covering flow battery operations, applications, manufacture, development and research. We bring together users, industry, suppliers and the R&D community to meet, learn, discuss and raise the profile of flow batteries; they are a crucial technology within the electrical energy storage sector.
Flow Battery Visit
Thursday 2nd July & Friday 3rd July 2020
There will be an evening visit to one of Volterion’s sites on Thursday 2nd July and on Friday 3rd July we will visit John Cockerill’s site at Seraing in Belgium, to see their demonstration of an integrated micro network of renewable generation linked to various battery types, including flow batteries. There are limited spaces so make sure you register early to guarantee a place. (Separate registration is required for each visit).
Introductory Seminar
Monday 30th June 2020
This seminar is an electrical energy storage introduction to flow batteries and provides a background understanding on the need for energy storage on power systems market opportunities, while also covering the important technical and commercial aspects of flow battery design, manufacture and operation. This essential information allows delegates to engage successfully with the range of topics at the IFBF. More info.
